Oriental Weavers, the world’s leading manufacturer of woven carpets, participated in Heimtextil 2026, one of the world’s premier trade fairs for interior textiles and design, held from January 13–16 in Frankfurt, Germany, where it stood out as the largest carpet exhibitor among exhibitors from +50 countries.
Through its participation at Heimtextil, Oriental Weavers reinforced its global leadership and strengthened key industry partnerships, sending a delegation of 150 professionals to showcase its latest innovations to markets worldwide. Leveraging its heritage, vertically integrated operations, and skilled workforce, the company continues to set industry standards by combining traditional craftsmanship with modern technology to meet evolving market demands and drive the future of the global carpet and textile sector.

A key moment was Oriental Weavers’ Saqqara Collection, selected for display in the prestigious ‘Future Floor’ pavilion, a space celebrating innovative and forward-looking rug design. Further reinforcing its leadership, Oriental Weavers participated in Architonic’s panel discussion “The Golden Thread: From Handcrafted Heritage to Global Production,” where Hany Amin, International Business Director, discussed industry challenges, heritage-driven innovation, and the role of AI in enhancing performance.
It is worth noting that Oriental Weavers is a proud contributor to the Egyptian textile industry, helping drive the country’s carpets exports to Germany, which increased by 23% in 2025 amounting to approximately €20.7 million during this period; highlighting the importance of global platforms like Heimtextil in supporting the industry’s continued expansion.
